The Three Questions Everyone Actually Asks

What does it cost?

Most average yards run $40 to $55 a cut, all in — mow, trim, edge, blow off and clippings hauled. Bigger or rougher properties cost more, and I’ll tell you the number before I ever put a mower on your grass.

Will you actually show up?

Same crew, same day, every week. That’s the whole model. If the weather moves your day, we text you — you don’t have to wonder where we are or call to find out.

How fast can you start?

You’ll have a quote within 24 hours. First cut is typically within 3 to 5 days after that, even in peak season.

How Weekly Mowing Works With Fili

I’m Jordan Filimonuk, owner of Fili Property Maintenance, and I’ve spent over 15 years maintaining properties across Stark and Summit County. Lawn mowing is the service where people get burned the most — and it’s almost never about the quality of the cut. It’s about the guy who came three weeks in a row and then stopped answering the phone in July. So here’s how mine runs.

You get a day, and it stays your day.

When you come on, you’re assigned to a route with a set day of the week. If Thursday is your day, Thursday is your day for the season.

You get the same crew.

The people mowing your lawn in September are the people who mowed it in May. They know where the sprinkler heads are and that the gate on the side of the garage sticks. That’s the first thing you lose when a company subcontracts the route out.

When the weather moves you, we text you.

When it rains through your day, or the ground is too soft to mow without leaving ruts, we push you and send a text. I’d rather move a day than tear up the turf I’m being paid to take care of.

Nobody gets subcontracted.

I don’t hand your property off. It’s my name on the truck and my name on 140+ five-star reviews.

Why Weekly Instead of Every Other Week?

Cool-season grass in Northeast Ohio doesn’t grow at a steady rate. From late April through June it explodes. Skip to a 14-day cycle in that window and you’re taking off far more than a third of the blade in one pass, which stresses the plant and leaves the yard looking scalped and pale. Two weeks of growth cut at once also lands in clumps that mat down and kill the grass under them. Later in the season, when growth slows, a stretched interval can make sense. That’s a conversation, not a policy.

Where I Mow

Weekly lawn mowing routes

Weekly mowing runs on set routes, and a route only works if the stops are close together. My mowing routes cover Canton, North Canton, Louisville, Massillon, Alliance, Canal Fulton and Green — including the neighborhoods around Ridgewood and Hills and Dales, the subdivisions off Everhard and around Belden Village, and everything around home base here in Louisville.

Full-service property maintenance

For full-service contracts — mowing bundled with landscape maintenance and year-round care — I go further north: Hudson, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Fairlawn, Bath Township and west Akron. If you’re up that way and want mowing on its own, call anyway and I’ll tell you straight whether I can serve you well.
Also from Fili: sod installation, hydroseeding, mulch installation, paver patios, and snow plowing.

What You Get With Every Cut

  • Mow — cut at a height that suits the grass and the season, not one setting all summer
  • Trim — string-trimmed around beds, trees, posts, fences, the mailbox and the AC unit
  • Edge — clean, defined lines along the driveway, sidewalks and curb
  • Blow off — walks, drive and patio cleared before we leave
  • Clippings hauled — no piles at the curb, no clumps baked into the lawn

That’s the whole service at one price. There is no “edging package” and no upcharge for hauling what we cut.

Getting Your Property Ready on Mowing Day

A few small things on your end make the cut faster and better:

  • Pick up after the dog. It’s the single biggest one, and it’s not a task anybody enjoys discovering with a mower.
  • Move toys, hoses, sports equipment and furniture off the grass.
  • Unlock the gate if the backyard is fenced.
  • Keep pets inside while the crew is on the property, for their safety and ours.

If something’s in the way, we work around it rather than through it — but a clear yard gets a better cut.

What Do Our Lawn Mowing Services Cost?

We aren't going to be the cheapest lawn mowing service in the area but we know we're the most thorough, we are reliable, we use the best equipment, and we always provide the most value.

Lawn Mowing Service

Starts @ $40 Per Cut

Most average yards run $40 to $55 a cut, all in. That means mow, trim, edge, blow off the walks and drive, and haul the clippings away. Not $40 to mow and then a line item for everything that makes it look finished.

I’ll tell you straight: I’m not the cheapest guy in Stark County. What I am is the most thorough. The edges get cut, not just the middle. The beds get trimmed around. The driveway and sidewalk get blown off before the truck leaves. If price is the only thing you’re weighing, I’m probably not your guy. If you’re tired of paying somebody to do half the job, we’ll get along fine. Bigger lots, steep banks, heavy shade and properties that have gotten away from you price out higher — I’d rather look at it and give you a real number than guess on the phone.
